Could Blind Melon be reforming with a new singer? Could this new singer be Travis Warren of Rain Fur Rent? If I was a betting man, I’d answer HELL YES to both of these questions. But, we’ll have to wait and see.

No kidding! Blind Melon is one of my favorite band! I love their song ” no rain’. But I don’t know if the new vocalist can do what Shannon can do.
Hey, I consider myself a HUGE Blind Melon fan. And, I considered myself a friend of Shannon’s. Shannon’s voice did play a large part in the band’s sound but all the other guys contributed equally. I don’t think Blind Melon is trying to replace Shannon, from what I’ve heard, they are working on new material. Brad and Christopher are great songwriters and I’m really looking forward to a new chapter in Blind Melon’s history.
I am on the side that they sucked, do suck and will continue to suck. It’s rare that I am listening to commercial radio, but every so often I hear this band and it makes my stomach churn. So if they reform they’ll be playing only to their old fans.

I am a big Blind Melon fan, and I miss Shannon very much. We all know that Shannon Hoon was a special singer/songwriter/lyricist, but I’ve always thought the band was pretty tight too. I for one am looking forward to hearing what these guys can do. I’m also all about keeping Shannon’s spirit alive as well, and would welcome hearing new takes on classic Melon tunes…

It is true Blind melon is getting back together with a new lead singer Travis Warren. Travis is an extremely talented musician, he is also one of the best guys I know. He grew up LOVING Shannon Hoon he told me he was a great inspiration to him. He is not trying to replace Hoon, No one can!
