According to their MySpace page, The Shys will be at SXSW this year though, as we all know, dates haven’t been confirmed. So, The Shys list shows every day during the music festival (maybe they’ll be playing day parties).
I was already a HUGE fan before seeing The Shys play for the first time last year at SXSW and the live performance sealed the deal for me. Here’s a bit of what I said (scroll down).

i’ve loved the shys since they were the gunshys and i caught them at sxsw 2005 and they were amazing. hopefully this will be the year for them!
I caught the Shys in Baltimore last August. Better bring your dancing shoes – and stretch out those hips before they take the stage, cause they’re gonna have you MOVING. If we’re lucky, they’ll play Call in the Calvary which might be one of the best rock songs of all times…can’t wait!
