I once commented that if I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, that band would be Idlewild. Fortunately, despite some setbacks that might end other bands (record label woes, lack of attention in the U.S., departure of band members, a solo album by the singer), Idlewild has returned with a new album, Make Another World, set for release in the UK on March 6 and the US on April 3. The fact that the US release follows the UK release by a month is notable due to the fact that the last 3 Idlewild releases (100 Broken Windows, The Remote Part, Warnings/Promises) have generally been released in the US 6 to 12 months after their UK release.
