Austinist Revised SXSW List, British Sea Power

Austinist has updated their list of SXSW bands, taking info from us and a few other places, as well as their own reporting. It’s nice to see it in one list. I don’t think they added a lot of stuff from our MySpace list, though.

Also, this list of British Sea Power tour dates more or less confirms a SXSW visit.

    Just wanted to mention that the bay area hip hop crew Living Legends will be doing a showcase this year at Emo’s. Should be a great show.

    Any news on The Industrial Jazz Group? We’ve only been begging since 2002 that these guys come back to SXSW, and now they’re up to 15 people (!) and touring with their chick-singer-bee-girl full time (finally).

    I only pray they don’t get damned to the jazz ghetto… they are not jazz, but ‘theatrical zappa ska.’

    I was in Columbus when they played at the Midpoint Music Festival in ’07 and they stole the show.

    Please oh please oh please…
