Skipped school with Larry, Ken, and maybe someone else - drank some warm Heinekin Dark from the glovebox. Id've answered the question about the awards show, but it wouldn't serve much point. Each run about 20 minutes long. I can't ever remember in 26 years anyone playing only 2 songs unless they were sitting in with a performer. The show runs about 4 hours. The Judy's set is 20 minutes. Awards are given out - winners then give speaches, etc. You know the drill. Through out the evening bands perform - typically each band performs 2 to 4 songs. And very often suprise guests artists appear; IE: Pete Townsend graced the stage last year. It was very cool! The Austin Music Awards show is most definately an awards show.
