gbv opened fer superchunk at th newport once and mac had bob come out fer a version of “bye bye kitty cat” – prof. pollard faked his way thru it (tho’ no doubt the above quote is spot-on) but ‘chunk knew it inside and out. never knew the (godly) influence of the fox bros ran so far but man was it good to see that it did!
