Donewaiting has always championed Columbus band Phantods, even inviting them to play our Donew8ing anniversary show. So I’m saddened to report the band is calling it quits — or, as they put it on the Facebook status, “going on hiatus for an undetermined amount of time”:
It is bittersweet to announce that July 21st will be our last show! We will be going on hiatus for an undetermined amount of time, in order to explore other things in life ;) We have had so many amazing years in Phantods that have been provided by all of your support and love. The night before our last show, we will be joining Arbor Ave. Films to watch a screening of the documentary that they made about us. They followed us around for over a year, getting behind the scenes shots and live footage. We’d love it if you joined us for both nights. We’ll post more about that screening later in the week. Love you all!!
