Hmmmmm.....will Blackwell make library cuts? PROBABLY. It'll happen I suppose. We all have to do more with less these days. It's a fact I guess.

A thought just occured to me. My best friend used to work for a posh suburban library (modesty prevents me from revealing which branch - no names forthcoming ) that would undoubtably be the definitive model for shallow/insensitive behavior in the workplace.

Particularly the women.

Many of them were TOTAL evil, angry, bitches/misandronists who were not-so-nice to the more 'unfortunate' heavy-set, quiet/shy, unattractive ones. They would treat them like shit and stomp all over them at any given opportunity. I don't think anybody would belive half the stories i could tell regarding their antics.

If I was to act the way they did, I'd be considered 'anti-social'. But not them. Oh no. To them, it's climbing the corporate and social ladder.

I honestly believe there's some secret society somewhere hidden away in the bowels of Columbus under the earth where all the gorgeous people of the world congregate every Thursday evening or something and discuss how they're going to
fuck everyone over in the following week. It's like the stonecutters in that Simpsons episode - where townspeople belonging to a certain clique get to do whatever the fuck they want.

Weird.
