Some of you may remember my quandry with having too many animals in our apartment, after the recent adoption of Waffles, above. Well, with heavy hearts we have decided that our home isn't the best for her. It didn't have anything to do with our rental office, but rather it's our other cat. You see, Waffles is probably the most affectionate, outgoing, gentle, playful cat I've ever met, but she just cannot get along with our other cat. We think the problem lies in the fact that he is a big orange tabby (we heard that there was an orange tom stray where we found her, so we think she's just terrified of orange cats in general). She doesn't seem to have much trouble with our small dog (20lbs), but whenever she sees Eli, she hunches, hisses and howls.
We would love if someone with no cats could give her a home. She's litter trained, spayed, and for sure has her first round of shots (she's probably vaccinated already, but we took her to the vet when we got her about a month ago). I can provide the vaccination record, but for safeties sake, she should probably get the second round when you can. She was negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids, she doesn't have fleas or worms, and is in general a very healthy, happy cat, as long as she doesn't see our other cat.
If you or someone you know is looking for a wonderful cat, please let me know. We just CANNOT take her to a shelter that will Euthanize and all of the no-kill shelters in Columbus are full. Please help us find a great home for Waffles, we'll even make you some cookies or something as a thank you!
Oh, one last thing, she's a pretty small kitty, she weighs about 7lbs, and is maybe a foot long :-p Very cute, and trust me, if we could keep her, we would, in a heartbeat.
