Too bad tix are through AEG Live - "convenience charge" amounts to more than 25% of the face value of the ticket so suddenly it's nearly $100 for two $37 seats.

I'd expect David Cross to use a better ticket agent. I don't begrudge the guy a high face value but he seems like the kind of person who'd think a show promoter was an asswipe for tacking on so much in fees.

On the last Comedians of Comedy tour, I saw Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Eugene Mirman, Maria Bamford, AND Doug Benson for right around $20. And every single one of them (even Benson, amazingly enough) was funnier than anything Cross has put on his last two comedy CD's. Thirty-seven bucks plus "convenience" charges? It's been a loooong time since Mr. Show, and David Cross can eat my ass.

I'm out of town that weekend. I have to miss this and Dinosaur Jr. Ouch!
