perhaps the photographer in question wanted to stage the shot in front of a full completed and artistic piece rather than some half assed tag in a bathroom or on someone's frontdoor .


that being said, what are you amish? you don't want a picture taken? it's huge and completely public. what happens when a glance lingers too long? will you begin to chide pedestrians? perhaps next time the public should avert their eyes.


perspective, look for some.

memorials are sacred things. if they dont mean anything to you, fine, but they mean something to someone.

a fashion shoot in front of, say, the 9/11 memorial would be in poor taste, right? so is this.

it's on a totally different scale, i know. but you know what i am saying.

no one is complaining about a picture being taken, it's the context and the reason of the photo.

I think the 911 comparison is way off.

It is a shame when a young person dies, there is no doubt about it.

But comparing a memorial for a young soul who lost his fight with epilepsy (seizures, right?) to thousands of victims of an act of violence/ act of war, is way off base.

I am not trying to disrespect the memory of this young man, just trying to point out that 911 memorials are not a good comparison.

All I know is Envelope, who is not a member of PBJ, said he thought it was poor taste that a "fashion shoot" was taken in front of the mural. Then you guys throw PBJ into this, which he certainly didnt.

He stated it in one sentence, didnt go crazy, and you guys are turning into a PBJ thread, wishing the mural was vandalized, calling him "Amish" when it was never a matter of a photo, but it was the context. (as I said before).

I mean the direction this discussion has been brought is pretty ridiculous.

I know my comparison was way out there, but I just wanted to point out to the people direspecting Daymon is just amazing. I dont care how you feel about PBJ, it's just silly to wish bad upon his mural.
