whereas a ragged on tribute mural won't function as that anymore..

I'll give Wes credit for sticking here and continuing the dialogue. That other fella doesn't seem to have had the stomach for it.

What I'm not understanding is this...Wes, you've got your feelings about this in that it doesn't really hurt anyone. You also have someone who, clearly, very demonstrably been hurt by tagging, even if you only count the damage to his door. You seem to be unmoved by the fact that someone cost him money by their actions, and still seem to be saying that this is a 'victimless crime' (admittedly not your words).

Does this mean that you don't believe TJ or the Surly Girl folks?

Their statements here aren't anecdotal...they are in fact first-person victims here.
