hello, i am a long time fan of garage rock, and have also been a longtime donewaiting fan, and though i realise that this may not be the proper forum to ask for this kind of help i have encountered a small problem during the process of moving out. Let me explain the situation, i, a young and handsome twenty-something, am living in an apartment that is owned by a couple who are good friends of my family and i must at all costs hide certain facts from them so as to insure that these facts don't make their way back to my dear parents' ears. The problem is this, there are, through much of the apartment, large blood stains on its white walls. So, what i've come to you for is help, because in my lurkings, the posters on this particular website out of all websites, seem to be very knowledgable and worldly for the most part, (except for jill ebeneze, the philistine) and anyways to cut to meat of the matter i want to know if any of you know a way of either cleaning or obscuring the blood stains without repainting the entire house. Duffy, we gotta make some kind of 'best of' section.

The appropriately named "kilz primer" is excellent for covering stains of all sorts. You will have to repaint over the primer though. Maybe there's some of the original wall paint somewhere in the basement/closet/utility area.

so short of hanging tapestries over the offending areas, you're gonna have to repaint.
