Got tix to Robin Williams. Expensive as hell but he was great last tour (far better on his stop here than when he filmed the HBO special I thought)

Margaret Cho was pretty good at the funny bone a year or two ago also but tix for this one are too high for me.

Well I should have said well-known then . I would love to see Jerry Seinfeld but won't pay the money, and would love to see Greg Giraldo as well, but have heard the Funny Bone jams you in there and is uncomfortable.

Brian Regan's special looks good. I saw Bill Burr's special "Why Do I Do This" last week and thought it was good too. Here is a snippet.

i honestly don't mind the funny bone. it's not great and yes you're packed in pretty tight but you're pretty close to the stage and sight lines are good for the most part. I'd much rather see someone there than at the palace or mershon where you're half an auditorium away.

The Funny Bone is typical to most "comedy clubs" I've been around the good ol US of A. Awkard seat positioning, shared tables, etc... but I've had mostly good experiences there.

Getting there early for the dinner is a waste, though.

no, trust me, i was excited for the special, dude has made me laugh in the past, otherwise i wouldn't have kept going back to it in hopes that it'd get better, but there just wasn't a single thing in that special that made me glad to have given up an hour of my life for it.
