casino issue passed 53% to 47%. cleveland, cincinnati and toledo carried the issue. franklin county voted against it 42% to 58%. but hey, we're gonna get a casino anyway, even though we clearly don't want it.

I believe all 3 issues on the ballot passed. Southwestern City Schools approved their levy.

Issue 2 I thought would go down since the animal rights groups thought it didn't go far enough and many more libertarian minded people didn't see the need to creating a Livestock Board that will need to be funded. It was an offensive-minded move by the Farm Bureau who saw animal rights groups pass far stricter livestock laws in CO and CA, with plans to do the same in OH.

Heard on the news this morning that some of the anti-issue 3 (gambling) people are going to try and get an Issue on the next ballot that would increase the taxes paid by casinos and open the gambling licenses up to a competitive bid system.
