Let me be the first to say thank you for everything you've done for the Columbus music scene. I can distinctly remember the first time we met ... Ben Kweller show at Little Brothers ... and shortly thereafter I think you asked me to start the Atomic Ned column on Donewaiting. Had it not been for Donewaiting, I'm not sure that I'd have much interest in the local music scene ... after the "big" bands from my college days broke up (Greenhorn, Feversmile, New Bomb Turks, Scrawl) I figured there wasn't much left in Columbus. You - and this site - proved me wrong.

So, best of luck in NYC, I can't wait to read your stuff once the move is complete and once NYC has a chance to meet "Duffy".

Can I put in my reservation to sleep on your couch sometime in September now?

Sweet for me 'cause I too moved back east about 3 days ago. I'm living in Queens (Ridgewood) and will definitely look into apartment leads for you since I was just doing that myself. Shoot me a PM or email with what you're wanting (space, $$, etc.)

Godspeed to you! While act of moving, packing, etc., goes down as one of the absolute worse activities ever, a fresh start is fun and exciting. To a city that is never lacking for things to do.
