chris robinson is actually good?

downloading patsys songs from their site as i type this.

I'm telling ya, the Robinson stuff IS good, much to even my surprise. I like the Black Crowes but tired of their hippie Southern rock schtick. Robinson's solo work however is mellow and introspective and really does sound like something that you'd find on Ryan Adams "Heartbreaker."

The Patsys were an unexpected find. They happened to link Swizzle-Stick on their site. I'm familiar with a few of the musicians in the band but have never spoken with any of them to my knowledge.
