y'know, when someone says something like, "man, kyuss fucking RULES!" it's th kind of observation that no one feels inclined to disparage, being that it's a big manly statement about a big manly band and that even if you don't really ever want to listen to kyuss, you could still probably get on board, at least somewhat, with the fact that they "rule."

however, i'm probably on th other side of th coin entirely when i say th 'cerulean' album by the ocean blue FUCKING RULES, but it does. so go ahead, disparage away.

I might be on another side altogether. I don't feel inclined to listen to or disparage either band. Whether it registers on my radar or not, it makes a lot of people happy. I enjoy what I like to the fullest and could give a rat's a$$ what anybody else thinks about it.

I gotcha...and that maybe something seemingly universally accepted as kick a$$ rock and roll like Kyuss might be kind of for weenies but nobody wants to say that because it is so "manly"; we are less likely to disparage manly-rock.
