Swetheart/Dis Yourself: My second time seeing Sweetheart. I thought they were good, but enjoyed seeing them in the smaller High Five better. I did really like the transition between the two bands that shared the drummer.

Did the first part of the band change their name again already? I'd like to see more of them.

Rosavelt Franklin: Disaster. Every time I thought a song was starting to get really good, they would end it. Or forget the lyrics. They ended their set by playing the theme of Cheers and just standing there, yelling at people to singalong. It was one of the strangest things I'd seen, necause they just stood on the stage, doing nothing while the song played. Seems like they might be better recorded.

Thunderbirds Are Now! I loved them. I bought both albums they had onsale. Lots of great, insane energy. I hope they found a place to stay.

totally agree with all that. Great show. Too bad more people couldn't have been there to enjoy it...the weather was perfect too. The last time I was at Springfest Rusted Root headlined and the crowd was huge...oh well.[/quote]

Small bit of correction. That show was one of OUAB's Big Free Concerts. Cause, no way would we book Rusted Root. And I think we had a great turnout. It was waaaay more than 200. I'll post up my review later.

you should all feel fortunate that you saw that white stripes show, for FREE. it was one hell of a show. and yeah, the delta 72 blew.
