I’ve been posting about the annual PBR Art Contest on the local PBR Facebook page, but just thought I’d throw this little nugget up here in case any interested artists out there don’t follow me…

DEADLINE is SEPT. 7TH – NO EXCEPTIONS - to turn in your “PBR-inspired” artwork for the chance to win cash & beer for a year, among other prizes, including the opportunity to have your artwork displayed gigantic-like on billboards around town!

On Sept. 7th, that’s next Wednesday(!), I’ll be collecting entries from 7-9PM at Bernard’s Tavern (630 North High Street) - just north of the cap and Utrecht Art Supply in the Short North.

Bring me some PBR art and I’ll buy you a beer, too!

Virtually any medium is accepted, but painting, illustration and various mixed media seem to be the most popular forms of entry.

When you drop off your artwork on the 7th we’ll get all your vital info – please be sure that your piece is ready to hang as your artwork will then be put on display at the Megacity Music Marathon on Sept. 10th at Woodland’s Tavern.

It will be registered in the national contest and then returned to you after the event.
