In September of 2011, Nite Owl Theatre premiered their season one finale, Metropolis. What made this episode more unique than any other episode Fritz had hosted, was that it featured a special cut of the film featuring a brand new, exclusive original score written and performed by Philadelphia-based musician, James Webster.

The episode was voted the fan favorite of the series so far and a special DVD/CD combo pack of the episode is being released on 8/21. To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the episode, we will screen it once again on the big screen, this time at our current home, Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse. The episode will be shown commercial-free to better focus on James' score and will feature the original pre-show from the night the episode first aired.
