this lush folkish band is really sounding good to me. the main guy Andy used to be
in a great indie-rock type band called The Raymond Brake that i used to love.

WOW, i finally just got this cd today and it's amazing. very mellow, natural strings &
guitars, some light foot stomping and a whole album of great songs.
upon further listening this reminds me of another great songwriter, Bill Fox of
the Mice. incredible outsider-folk music for an incredibly strange time.
please check this out if you can.

sorry to keep going back and on about this, but i had to add a few things:

Devendra Banhart plays guitar and some backup vox on this cd.

Hope Sandoval sings backup on one song.

Joanna Newsom plays harp on a song.

Colm O'Ciosoig (drummer from My Bloody Valentine) plays drums on a few.

kind of a star studded event for such a low-profile release.

after listening to this many times now, i feel it comes highly recommended
from me. really, really. one of the best things i've heard all year.
