I hate it when this happens, but...

We're looking for a new bass player. Our bass player has some major conflicts with the upcoming tour/gigging schedule, so we're trying to accomodate by switchin' him up to (eventually) "visiting" lead guitar (he's a guitar player, not a bass player, anyway).

What this means is that we need a new bass player ASAP. We have multitudinous gigs in place, and before this came down the pike, we were setting up a West Coast tour in October. I don't know how feasible that is at this point, but I'd like to keep it going, so if you're open to that it's a definite plus.

We'd also LOVE to have someone that can play cello as well as bass.

We're serious about what we do (serious enough that I quit my job to make music the full time gig). We are hard working and dedicated, and would expect you to be too.

Our sound is currently somewhere between U2, Wilco and Weezer, but I'll never pigeonhole us into one category. I love to write and I love to explore.

O.k. Dusting off this post. Our current bass player has been hanging on, but will be commited to graduating next semester. His nose will be in books, not on stage, so we're getting serious about the bass player search again.

I thought we had somebody (somebody who could play Cello even!), but he too decided edumacation was more important and chose grad school over rock and roll. What is it with kids these days?
