One thing is obvious, there's an error in line 113 of the coding. Another thing could be a connection problem with the server. I'm guessing the server did some kind of refresh or update and part of the code wasn't updated correctly, OR someone at cm.com was playing with the coding, broke it, and can't figure out what he/she did. Also there's the possibility that it's donewaitings birthday and they wanted to drive us over here to make them look cool...which obviously is working. I estimate that the board should be up at the end of the week.

I told them right after they changed the board that ASP sucks go with PHP. They didn't listen and now the board is down a lot. I think it's the incessant babble of L**** and D***** that brings down the board. So if anyone from cm.com that has anything to do with the board is reading SWITCH TO PHP!!!!! Get PHPBB!!!!!

Go to columbusmusic.com forum when it is back up and see if you want this one to turn into that one.

Cm.com has a group of 10 or so that do nothing but provoke and spew insults to newbies, or people they deem not elite. There is hardly any musci discussions, and when there are, it is about the accepted scensters. Many of the bands that post here, you will notice, do not post at Cm.com for that reason.

Another good example; you can see I have met resistance with some of my views on "Conceal and Carry", and some other topics here, but you will see a DEBATE on the topic. Over there, you will see only a few intellgent posts about it, the rest are just bullshit witty remarks. And once you are identified as having a view opposing the elites over there, they will constantly be throwing it in your face, derailing the topics.

Over there, you can see that racist remarks are accepted if it doesn't offend the elites.

You can see pictures posted of a hot woman in thongs are offensive (if posted by those not accepted as elite. Some of the elites have half naked girls as avatars, though), but requesting someone to ass rape another board member that has opposing views is ok, if it is an accepted elite posting it.

If you piss off a cm.com scenester, they will request you be ass raped, in detail.

A guy and me got into a small, heated discussion HERE, but we both apologized, and moved on. There, you will never see apologies posted, unless you dig up one of the couple I did.

Duffy keeps this place pretty clean so it can keep on topic. Over at cm.com he is called a nazi moderator by several of the ones that are enjoying this place to post now, while the cm.com bored is down.

I am an enemy of the cm.com elitists, because I have chosen to stay there and give them a taste of their medicine, instead of just leaving, as many of the SMART ones do. I have been so successful beating them at their own game, they have attempted to hack my website, email threats, phone threats, and follow me around music forums and start shit, instead of "IGNORING" me, as they tell all the non elites to do about them.

You will notice several trying to drag that war over here, and make this a shit hole.

You will know them by their posts. They start spewing insults at anyone who presents an arguement or debate to them, that they can't give a reasonable reply to using substance. They will dog people for their spelling and typo errors, and derail topics show they can show their wit. Of course, all done while hypocritically ignoring their friends errors.

So, that should fill you in on why people are so quick to try to throw water on a flame here. They want to keep it clean, and about music.

fotobass, I think you should consider banning a couple of people from the CM.COM board. Denver and Lynchmob namely. They post more crap than anyone over there, look at the numbers. Sure, they are entertaining to an extent, but I think most people left because of them. Many people did not come back after MichaelBolton hacked the board and took it down. A lot of people did not want to re-register, in fact I didn't for at least 5 weeks.

Denver, I love how you come to the CM.COM board and accuse everyone of being elitist hypocrites and start fights in every thread and then come here and act like it's everyone else and not you at all. You are one of the biggest poopers over there. Many "tard fights" happened AFTER your arrival.

I've even complained about some elitist mentality in the music scene and I was met with resistance but I stood my ground for the moment and dropped it when it was appropriate. My opposition to the Iraq war caused some heated discussion last year and people were accusing me of being a hippie. Hell, they do that already because I like some jam bands. Anyway, I just think that it's all in your delivery and apparent demeanor or tone of your posts that cause the most trouble over there. I have even apologized to you when you were offended by a jab.

Sorry I posted a book, it's just irritating to me that one who accuses people of being hypocrites is one of the biggest hypocrites I have seen. Alot of people are on these boreds at work and need a little release. Everyone knows each other so they feel comfortable ribbing one another, big deal.... If you don't like the sensitive nature of the posters on these boards, DON'T POST OR SPEND TIME HERE. Jeez, makes sense to me. There are people here who don't like the "tone" of some of the people on the CM.com board and, guess what, those same people that regularly post here DON'T POST ON CM.COM. There are plenty of people who post on BOTH boards and have no problems. Perhaps we need to start a thread here (just as "Gumby" did on CM.com) when CM.com gets back up and running and say "Thank God those people are gone, all they do is trash talk and act like stupid high school kids on the playground."

That's cool, sorry to jump on ya, it's just my "sensitive" side But, seriously, the two boards are two different worlds. People on this board are pretty serious when talking about music. I can't even begin to tell you how many great bands I've discovered based on things people have posted here, how many great shows I have seen because bands have hyped them here, how many great friends I've met in "real" life that I first met on these boards. I've met a few of the CM.com posters too and they are very cool as well. I don't understand why things always turn into a CM.com vs. DW.com thing. The two can't be compared because they serve different purposes. They should be able to peacefully co-exist.
