I'm sure most of you don't care at all about this. But I do. And I know a lot of you are pseudo-cynical jaded sports fans (aka Browns fans) so..... Any opinions? This is probably going to affect college football as we know it. |

The football program is going to get destroyed. Shut them down. Let Penn State rot for turning a blind eye and enabling Sandusky. |

I'm with both of you. Death Penalty? If SMU got it for academic fraud I don't see any reason to spare Penn St. Maybe it'll get their offense out of the 20th century. |

SMU recieved the death penalty becuase they had a payroll not a roster, they were paying salaries every 2 weeks like a company would. They recieved the death penalty because they created a competitive imbalance Im sure the NCAA will try to disassociate the 2, however hiding these attrocities to make sure it doesnt affect recruiting seem to create a big time competitive imbalance to me. They need the death penalty as well |
