We've got 1 regular season game left (a makeup game from a rainout earlier in the season) and then we take our (currently) 8 and 1 record (hopefully 9 and 1 after next week) into the playoffs.

If you're bored on Monday night (July 24 @ 7:15), come on out to the softball fields located off of Olentangy River Rd (between Bethel and Henderson) to cheer on your favorite softball playing Donewaiting message board posters (BAVox, DJ Sleepy, Atomic Ned). We're on field #6 and are taking on the Half-Time Tavern.

As a side note: the Half-Time Tavern agreed to sponsor the ZapJakes last year. We went drinking there after games. They NEVER gave us a dime. A victory against the Half-Time Tavern will be sweet (we've already beaten them once this year).

Maybe in light of the hot thread on the board we should rename ourselves the ZackJakes. I can see all sorts of t-shirt/jersey possibilities (come on, somebody with Photoshop make up a ZackJakes jersey and post please).

First round of CHAMP OF CHAMPS tournament is Monday (August 14).

The will be playing on field number 11 at Berliner Park (downtown) at 8:30pm.
