Walked by it yesterday on the way to Northstar. We totally would have tried it if not for the fact that I'd had Mexican every day for three days. There is a huge "TEQUILA" sign that draws the eye. I want to check out the menu as I suspect 10 dollar tacos.

We tried to eat there once. Yes, stupidly enough it was on a Friday night (about a month ago) at around 8pm. We were told it would be about a 35 to 45 minute way. So we found a pair of seats at the bar (there were 4 of us). Bartender messed up one of the drink orders and the n proceeded to ignore us, luckily someone in our party knew the other bartender. After waiting an hour and a half, we just left. The tables were filled with these self-absorbed twenty-somethings who were not even eating but drinking. Apparently, people just kept showing up, joining already seated parties and taking chairs and tables. The hostess was clueless and not even that cute. My margarita was very good however. Still all and all a very unpleasant experience.

the worst part is: there used to be a few TALITA'S around town, and the one that the grandparents ran (up near cleveland & morse) RULED!!! when i lived on that side fo town for a year or two, i couldn't believe how good the food was from there. then i moved back down to the center of town, and ate at the clintonville talitas and wanted to die. how do you make mexican food so badly? why is my rice swampy!?!?!? i tried it two other times, because i just KNEW that one day i'd have something as good as the northside one, but alas, it was never to be. and of course, the "good" one closed years ago . . .

plus, the food sucks.
