Okay..um thanks Red Rabbit for posting our menu...as it states there will be more to come in the form of meatball subs(veggie too), wasabi chicken salad, french fries, finger foods, salads... nightly specials. maybe an all you can eat pasta night...

For starters we will be open from 5pm until the bar closes at 2am.
come fall we hope to add delivery and be open for Lunch.
that is all I can think of for now.

They are having a "soft" opening tonight.

...I live around the corner, and it's wednesday during ghost town, so I went tonight and got the vegetarian "artichoke heart of darkness"...

waited 15 minutes (good) for a 9" pie loaded with real toppings (not bagged/frozen/cheapo shit)...maybe not organic, but damn good.

to emote the palette lamely: the crust was light, but flakey, with an almost "thin air" feeling to it (ala Rubino's, or a Donato's that you're so high you forgot that you just ate), but it was very good.

my only issue is that each pie looked to be at least seven bucks...which is a bit of a snag in a bar full of PBR disciples. one of the secrets of the taco ninja was that they had cheap stuff (nachos, tacos) that was under three bucks that could fill up the tank just enough to hold somebody over or prevent a hangover. some pepperoni bread sticks need to be introduced to satisfy the cheapskate/poor people.

and they stay open UNTIL THE BAR CLOSES.

artichoke heart of darkness was delicious. in fact i'm craving one right now.

fucking LOVED both the 20,000 leagues AND the finnegan's bake.

metric shit-ton of toppings on both.
the pineapples were huge and the shrimp amazing on the 20,000 (but it was greatly served by some fresh cracked pepper when i got it home. it added SO much having black pepper on that bitch that it should be on the menu that way!)
but seriously, how the fuck can davey make any $$$ giving folks THAT FUCKING MUCH bacon for a dollar add-on for the finnegan's? it was mind-numbing (and delicious!)
