I tend to agree with some of what ZAS is saying - as remarkable as that sounds.

Some of these twerps on campus or wherever seem to have a bug up their collective asses. Their presence downtown is beginning to become overbearing and all powerful.

If they don't like you - look out!!!

If there are peeps down in this area that I don't like and there aren't that many unlike say Washington Beach or some such hole - I usually just ignore them. I've been the vicitim of their loudmouths and know-it-all b.s. on many occasions and I usually just let them have their say.

I'm not saying that some may have a relevant point or two - but most of them seem to wield their opinions like a dangerous weapon. Their influence at times could be likened to that of a big brother. It's just sad to open up a link to this sort of thing and see so many profane hot headed echo chambers all over the place. The Oval's crawling with them at times.

just to make it easier on you later down the road, i'll clue you in on something: starkey & i are friends. real life honest-to-gosh ones even. known him since the days when he DIDN'T have funny hair.

and another li'l tidbit for you: i have NO problem calling "bullshit" when i see/hear/read it. doesn't matter whether i know you or not. doesn't matter if we're friends in real life or not. just ask zach. or redrabbit, or cookie even.

zach said that he gave up on a "political statement" that he was making because he felt others didn't want him there. way i see it, if you care enough to make some form of statement, you should just make it and anyone who doesn't wanna hear/see it can go screw. and i think deep down, my friend zach feels the same way. so i called him on it. big deal. we'll still shake hands when next we see each other.

and one last li'l tiny one for you: both nick cave and batman kick ass.

I liken bastardsuperstar to a froward overgrown man-child, that must be played with and humoured a little to keep it quiet till it falls asleep.
