This girl, and I do feel terrible for her, was hunting ghosts in his yard and around his house. (That's what I've read.)
And supposedly, this guy has had a lot of trouble with people creeping around his property at night. So, let's not just paint this guy as a devil.

This girl wasn't going door-to-door selling girl scout cookies on a Sunday afternoon. She was sneaking around somebody's house in the middle of the night. She and her friends were being dumb. That's what teenagers do. And sometimes, when people do dumb things, there are dumb results...sometimes tragic results.

I currently have the precious honour of working at an office park across the street that is filled with 100% rock stupid, gossiping, shop whores who treat Csomopolitan like their bible, and talk shit constantly about their friends when they aren't around.

Apparently the parents are upset that people are actually taking sides with the Davis family. Apparently lots of noise was made on a local call in show last week. Oh dear.

yeah, teenagers never do silly things after dark. I mean, i never did, that's for sure.

While I understand that the kids got the ball rolling on this one, i'm getting pretty tired of the arguments that somehow suggest this result is either their fault or that this girl deserves to be brain damaged. See all the hate directed at 'those little rich blonde bitches' over on the craigs list rants and raves section for examples of those arguments.

It's kids messing around. like it or not, that's what kids do, and because of that, we don't hold them responsible for their actions like we do adults. See the juvenile court system. That's also why kids aren't allowed to buy guns. We expect adults to make more rational decisions.
