Wow... 5 pages... okay...

I can't bitch much about the price of beer at CF; between volunteering to do page layout on the program the last 8 or so years, and playing several sets throughout the weekend, I usually have an embarrassment of tokens. By Sunday night, I'm giving them away to friends. So, suck up to me, I'll get you drunk AND let you crap into real actual porcelain at my nearby apartment.

Seriously though: The best way to change any of the things that bug you IS to attend meetings and become part of the process, but be warned: the meetings can be a maddening quagmire of parliamentary procedure. Go back to page 1 of this thread, read it through about 5 times while pushing a rock uphill, and that will give you a taste of what you may be in for.

Do that all twice, and you'll be as exhausted and frustrated as some of us are (well, me anyway) by the time the program goes to the printer every year. Which brings another point to mind... It's been mentioned here that CF will be attempting to "educate" the community in an effort to curb BYOB. How exactly is that happening? A new section in the program I don't know about? Radio call-in shows with beer/wine committee members? Skywriting? Bumvertising? Please tell me we're not doing it via telepathy...
