Looking to buy a neti pot here in Columbus. Would enjoy a selection of colors to choose from... anyone here know where I can pick one up around town? I need to flush my face.

i betcha the Co-op has some. not to mention the Vita-mins dept. at Wild Wholes. they're a hot item for all the cokers lately, because it clears that built up residue and forces down one big last 'drip' if'n ya knowutmsain.

i got mine at the co-op, but i bet wild oats has em too.

caution: maybe this was just me, but i went a little crazy with my neti pot when i first got it....first thing in the morning....how bout a little sinus cleansing?....gettin home from work...why not?.....going to bed....might as well flush those babies out for a good night's sleep.

the result: ouchies!

i had to take a hiatus and then control myself to once a day or so.
but i tend to overdo it with fun new toys. like things that shoot water through your nasal cavities.
i'm just saying.

I experimented with nasal irrigation on this last tour as per the suggestion of a mother/friend. I was really sick and couldn't talk, so I picked up this NeilMed nasal irrigation kit. I don't know if it really helped at all or not. It seemed to feel good in a way. I mean, I could notice that some of the slime was being flushed out of my sinuses, but it felt like my nasal cavities would get kind of congested after I used it, like the inside of my face was swollen, and eventually when I started upping the amount of salt in the mixture to try and really get that shit out of there, well, then the inside of my face was raw.

Still, I got the kit and have been thinking about trying it out now that I'm not sick.

Got mine yesterday at Clintonville Community Market on Crestview - $11.99, salt not included. Used it this morning, decided to do it in the shower first, a good idea for beginners. I feel good, am breathing a lot easier today.

CVS had them, but they were a lot more expensive, closer to 20 bucks.
