early man just wasn't that successful, but they tried to be. I just hate to hear all this press and hype via indie rock outlets when the bands just don't stack up...i hate arguing about music more though, so I'll stop.

the only time metal gets mentioned on this board is to promote shows (at least in my dealings). There is a wealth of good bands (not metal) in this town and if I wanna go see el Jesus de Magico or Brainbow or whatever I will because they make good music.

i once read in an interview with danzig that in order to join his band you had to be able to bench press a certain amount... "if you wanna lift weights with me... something something... if you wanna join a band with me.... something something"

judging him by what he's listening to nowadays (warbringer, kingdom of sorrow ( ), children of bodom, oh sleeper, in flames, testament as stated in the article), i can tell you dead child will not be good. still won't deter me from going, though.

Like I said, Dave is paying me to hype this show. I am his street team. Right now, the Olsen twins have asked to be on the guestlist. Mike Coleman will be at this show, giving Dead Child a key to the city for having a member of the band that looks like frankenstein (it's called inclusion).
