That's A-ok in our book, as long as you stay on topic. We're talking about Kevin Bacon here.

By the way, does anyone else find it amusing that over here Denver can acutally spell "elitists?"

Stooge.

I had a crush on Kevin Bacon in the seventh grade. Can't exactly remember what movie it was that I saw him in to spark the crush.

Hey, Kiesha. What's the deal with your sig? It seems a little hostile.

I walked past Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick in New York City, outside of Tower Records, about 7 years ago. There is my six degrees.

Unrelated topic, Cookie. I was writing an instant message to a friend about some people she's dealing with and I said that. I thought it was funny.

That was the movie where he played a bad cop and got to have a threesome with those two chics I think. I forget the name of it

Yeah, never cater to them. The food's never good enough for 'em, and it's impossible to get the shrimp chilled properly for them.

okay, changed the sig. Mr. Duffy is right, it doesn't suit me.
Shameless self-promotion, on the other hand....

Another suggestion for the DW CM forum: Behind The Dumpster

I think that captures the "essense" of our merry band of tards, assclowns and scenesters.

HEY! I've got an idea! Lets take our party over to the U.K. section and start typin' all cockney-like, right.......and then make fun of the British. That'd be a real cm.com thing to do.

Wow, I seem to be a magnet for the tard wars. Denver all you had to do was IGNORE what I said about you. That's all you ever have to do and nothing spirals insanely out of control.

On another note, if someone will pay me a good amount of money I'll work on columbus music along with whoever knows the database stuff. I'll even get rid of that damn Watershed CD.

What cm.com is to me?
It's like the Special Olympics where all of the tards play together happily and compete for who knows what and forgets about it the next day. CM.com IS the Special Olympics of the Local "Scene".

What dw.com is to me?
It's like that friend who's a good influence on you but you're weary about hanging out with him because you don't want to seem "uncool" but eventually you do it anyways.

We didn't start one.

not thread, "folder/seperate area.."

I like the "Behind the Dumpster" name... or maybe "OH Crap" to fit the local lingo.

And thanks for putting up with us Duff and Co. - we truly can all get along. I for one enjoy both boards and the work you do putting together shows, etc.

My gears are turning too. What about a CD kind of like the Cringe compilations but featuring bands that post on DW and CM? 20 or so tracks. Maybe Duffy (or me if Duffy doesn't have time) and Fotobass act as "judges" and pick out what winds up on the CD. Rather than dealing with fancy packaging or anything we just do CD-Rs with cheap cardboard cases. Let's talk on Friday night.

That's a great idea. I picked up a local compilation of San Diego bands when I was out there. The packaging is a simple cardboard sleeve with a raw looking graphic on it. The bands they captured are pretty edgy, punk, garage type bands, so the simple "raw" packaging worked well.

OH Crap! must live!

I'm down for this. We could even extend it (maybe for future comps - OH Crap Too! or something - to other cities in Ohio if the first does well. I know some bands in Cincinnati and Cleveburg and so do a lot of folks here.

see ya Friday.

Hell..just do an MP3 Comp..you could have a load of tunes on it.

I would certainly be interested in helping put together something..Might I suggest not selling it but giving it away..Just have intersted parties pay an admission fee of sorts..(split cost) which would be close to nothing if they were home burnt. Good promotion and an easy way to get ya band heard.
