Anyone have tips on the best way to get to blossom to avoid traffic headaches? I've only been once before and I think I sat on the highway (77 I assume) waiting to get off for over an hour. This is what mapquest suggests...

4: Merge onto I-71 N via EXIT 26 toward CLEVELAND.
5: Take the OH-18 exit, EXIT 218, toward AKRON/MEDINA.
6: Turn RIGHT onto MEDINA RD/OH-18 E. Continue to follow OH-18 E.
7: Turn LEFT onto SMITH RD.
8: Turn LEFT onto SAND RUN RD.
9: Turn RIGHT onto YELLOW CREEK RD.
10: YELLOW CREEK RD becomes W BATH RD/CR-48.
11: Turn LEFT onto AKRON PENINSULA RD.
12: Turn RIGHT onto STEELS CORNERS RD W.

a billion years ago, when i lived north of blossom, we always took 271 to route 8 which took you right to steels corners.

from columbus: 71 north to 271 north
271 north to route 8
east?(turn right) on route 8 and take route 8
to steels corners

again, it's been a billion years, but i'm pretty sure that's how we used to get there.

not technically "original" lineup but yeah it has all the main people. In fact, if I remember correctly they may even be touring with 3 guitarists but i'm not positive about that.

Edit; yeah 3 guitars and they're doing all songs from powerslave through 7th son. this will finally make up for me missing them when they were at vets. memorial back in 88ish.

From Columbus:

Take 71N to 76E.

Exit 76E at 8 North (This is a left-hand exit).

8 North to Graham Road/Silver Lake exit.

Go left (east) on Graham Road.

Take Graham Road to State Road.

Make a right on State Road.

Take State Road to Steels Corners Road.

Go left on Steels Corners. Blossom will be on your right, about two miles up.

There are shorter routes but you shouldn't have to suffer much traffic this way.

ALTERNATE:
Exit 8 North at Steels Corners and just go. It's more direct and you get to see less of Cuyahoga Falls, but you'll probably have to deal with more traffic.
