Our neighbor had their driveway redone last summer. You can see the work being done in the photo.

Oh man, we spent a few hours piddling around Columbus last night (also, Dayton, Springfield, Lafayette/West Jefferson and Cincinnati). I found my car and my buddies car.

From what I can tell the city was photographed over at least a few months or so. Campus is absolutely dead, but it's a gameday, so I'm guessing it was in early September when they took those photos. If you swing by the Newport, you can see the Local Band Showcase is playing and then Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake are upcoming. My car is in front of the apt I lived in from Mid-august to Nov 1, so I know it was in the fall when they photographed my neighborhood (interestingly, they drove all the way through Governour's Square at Kenny and Henderson, which was weird).

As far as human life-forms, they're there (see the Horseshoe), but if they're close enough to the cameras to be distinguishable, they're blurred out.

Also few notes of interestingness- You can check out Rush Creek village in Worthington (east of High Street at South Street), the fucking Times Square Lite at Broad and High is not complete yet, and they also did Google Street View in Key West, which is awesome since I'll be down there sipping margarita's in about four days

I used to scroll through other cities on google maps a while ago. I remember wishing that they'd include Columbus. Now that they have, I'm going to have fun cruising through the city.
