Iron Maiden must make a fortune on merchandise. I swear in 20 years i've never seen a higher percentage of people wearing the bands T-shirts at a show.
I don't think I've seen a higher percentage of
band members wearing the band's T-shirts at a show before.
I loved the show, but I wasn't that familiar with the "newer" material (the uh…17-year old songs) so I probably enjoyed the last tour a little more. Still though, it made me feel like I was in the 8th grade again to see them up there belting it out. And Eddie is always cool.
Also, a night at Blossom once again confirmed how lame Polaris was. Blossom is a gorgeous venue…it's made out of wood and looks like it just pushed its way up out of the ground. Vending in the back of the lawn area, lots of trees, and I felt like I was in line for the Beast at Kings Island while walking from the parking lot. The place has some great Feng Shui. Plus…FIRE! I was in the 14th row and could feel the heat every time they fired up those torches.
