And that they deny you if your IQ is too high?

Did you ever wonder why they would deny a person who's IQ is too high?

It's because some of the smart cops may decide to question the laws they enforce.

Can't have free thinkers out there.

As for being a "reactionary constitution" - as it turns out, there are some pretty good ideas in the constitution.

But Seriously, Here's a Free Market Solution to this problem

Some people will voluntarily install breathalyzer ignition keys. Why? Because competing insurance and car dealerships would give them big price breaks if the consumer does so. It's an good messure of security for other drivers, it protects the insurance companies invest and it could protect you.

I’m sure someone at MADD already proposed this idea, if they haven't they're all talk.

NEVER take a breathealyzer test. Yes you will lose ur license for a year(a good lawyer can get it reduced and driving privileges back within a few months) but it is a lesser charge than dui. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way.

I think a better option that the ignition breathalyzer would be a handheld/pocket version which at least lets a driver know if they are drunk before they drive. Doesn't kill the engine, just the excuse of "I didn't know".

There was an article in The Other Paper about this, last week, titled "Drunks are losing blood, not rights" which to me is such an absurd notion. Some of the quotes in the article are great.

"The police are actually protecting citizen's 4th Amendment rights by going to a judge." [My opinion, a judge that rubber stamps isn't a system of checks and balances]

"According to Judge Ted Barrows, when Joe Citizen applied for and accepted a driver's license in Ohio, he gave implied consent to submit a breath sample to a police officer upon request."

From defense attorney Bill Meeks, "frankly once a police officer smells alcohol on your breath, it's all downhill from there."

The last quote should say "frankly once a police officer pretends to smell alcohol on your breath, it's all downhill from there."
