Was anyone here a "regular"? I was for a few years...

I went there a few times but most of my experience was living across the street from it in the "South Ghetto" watching everyone roll out of there at closing and hanging out on the corner.


i do remember that the door guy always reminded me of Duff from GNR.

I used to go several times a month from '91-'96 when Mustard's would get dull. They had a $.75 tequila shot special for a while. I'm assuming they were good times because I don't remember much of them.

me too. I used to go a lot although the exact years are kinda hazy now. I do recall being slightly under-aged when I first started going there, as well as to Mustard's and Purity Mining Co., which were some of the better bars down there at the time.

I danced there, I roadied for my older brother's band there a few times in the late 80's, and I played there in the early 90's a couple/few times.

What was that other place up the street a bit? Maxwells? Rockwells? And old Skully's rocked too. And that arcade.

Dang. I'm old.

I had a gallery showing of my art one night there in the mid-80's, while Dead Can Dance, The Cocteau Twins, The Smiths, and The Communards played in the background...
