actually, if anyone knows of a laundromat that has power, that would be rad too. I had a load in wash and one half-baked in the drier when the shit when down.

I feel a teeny bit bad bitching about this because i'm not under 8 feet of water or anything, but it does kind of suck.

chipotle in grandview has power. looks like a fair number of places in that general area do, too.

i'm taking a chance that since my freezer is full the food will last for 48 hours. if the power isn't up tomorrow evening, i'm gonna move it all to a cooler with ice - worth a shot, right?

Wow, we got lucky here in Hoosierville. Power went off for 40 minutes, came back in time to watch the Browns game. (Well, maybe that wasn't the lucky part.)

Word on the street is that The Dube has power, at least it did last night. If this is true, that's where you'll find me tonight. Whiskey and Trivial Pursuit by candlelight is fun, but two nights in a row?

Come to think of it, maybe I will just stay home tonight.

I'm at work, but when we were out last night it seemed that all High St got power back from Surly Girl to the Cap, at least. That was around 11, so unless something else has gone wrong....

Cup O Joe in Clintonville is open, and thank god for that b/c there's no coffee being made in my dark kitchen. It's totally swamped (CoJ, not my kitchen) and all the outlets are in use, but if you're patient they will eventually give you some COFFEE MOTHERFUCKER. WHERE IS MY COFFEE WHERE IS IT?

well it's not food but the an important thing, records.

Lost Weekend Records is now open power came back on around 3:00pm.

I was on campus earlier an Used Kids was closed but Mags was open Singing Dog was open but no power.

So Lost Weekend now has power and will be open today until 7pm. since we lost Sunday afternoon and all day Monday we will also be open on Wednesday, which was our new day off but we will open this Wednesday to make up for yesterday.

Oh and I saw someone bitching about coffee, I can feel you pain what I have been doing was boiling water on the stove and making instant coffee

I was the person complaining about no coffee (I have both a gas range and a lighter but am waaayyyy to stuck-up to actually keep instant coffee in my house). It hardly matters though, since I live around the corner from CoJ and therefore also around the corner from Lost Weekend, and I've been away from home since 1:00 this afternoon but now I'm really really hoping that LW's good news is also my good news and I'll have power when I get home.
