Cruise, Bumbico & I were partying on the porch cranking "Official Ironmen Rally Song" on the boombox when the lights came on around 8:45 last night. And it was glorious. Fists were pumped. Tears were shed (Bumbico). Records were played. More whiskey was consumed. Bongs were ripped. It's gonna be alright, folks.

I'm still in the dark - literally and figuratively.

Still no power. Mama has power tho. Global warming dude. It's W's fault. I've never seen anything like it in my life in Ohio.

On the other hand, it forces you to get out of the house and socialize around city campfires. I've read two dune books. We had "meatfest 2008" and cooked everything that was gonna go bad. Acoustics have been strummed and songs have been sung.

Well, I'm gonna got to NYC now so hopefully when I get home the power will be back.

i had to cook 5 different types of fish to keep it from going bad. 2 in the oven, 1 on a skillet, and 2 on the grill, all at the same time.

god, i really want chicken or something tomorrow.

i just got internets yesterday at work, i have had power at work the whole week.

there was still no power at my house today when i left this morning.
there was power for about two hours wednesday night until the transformer behind my house EXPLODED. there appeared to be two trucks fixing it last night when i came home, but still no power.
i live in the 'beach, summit near bobo.

also, here's my car. hooray!!



no damage to house or persons, thankfully.

Jesus guys. One week without power and balls are flying out of this place faster than Great American Ballpark!! Methinks I should start sleeping on the couch.
