my bud needs to buy a used car (under $5,000) in columbus. suggestions on dealers?

is eric from evil queens still doing this?

If I was buying a used car today, I would check to see what Tomy Turbos has...he just collects, fixes and sells Saabs. I'm sure he could set you up with a great car in that price range.

i bought mine about a year ago on craigslist for around $3500 and so far so good for the most part

i carfaxed it prior to purchase as well

Bought my first car there, it was a p.o.s. Topaz that put me in big credit card debt over the next several years making repairs. Maybe it was just bad design by Mercury, but still, they sold me what they wanted to sell me.

Try the Dispatch. A few years back I bought my 1997 Toyota Corolla for just under 5 grand fom a Dispatch listing and the car only had 55,000 miles on it. It's still running great and has only needed minor maintenance work.

My advice is to avoid used car lots. Who needs 'em?
