Bluejackets first trip to the playoffs vs. the Red Wings... i'm a detroit transplant, so i'll be rooting for the wings, but i couldn't be more excited about a 1st round matchup. jackets & wings games are always action-packed.

yeah, the celtics are awesome, dude. benefit from the nba's "look the other way for ny/la/boston" salary cap rules to acquire kevin garnett and ray allen, two career underachievers who couldn't win anything on their own to add to whiny primadonna paul "i enjoy spitting at other teams' benches" pierce. enjoy a juggernaut 2007-08 season highlighted by frequent timeout "celebrations" during which garnett and co. join celtic fans in taunting opposing teams during blowouts by dancing to the gino american bandstand clip. then give pierce the mic at opening night so he can make a 15 minute speech about how he's the tightest bro ever.

as much awesome as it would be to be a celtics fan, i've had too much fun over the past six seasons watching a homegrown talent become the best player in the nba and lead his team to the best record in the nba this year with a decent shot at getting back to the finals.

on the bright side, even though the cavs didn't tie boston's record for home wins in a season, i never thought i'd see the day when they won 95% of their home games.
