dude rolled up 4th at 25 mph, i was like MOTHERFUCKER YOU NEED TO GO THE SPEED LIMIT NOW

i made it to 4th and hudson, gave dude a 20 and he was like, do you have change all i have is $7

Those dudes are some of the worst drivers I have ever seen. Double-parking, swerving in and out of lanes, just being plain discourteous and bad drivers, fuck blue cab hard. Ride a bike, and watch out for those blue cabs.

Absolutely, fuck Blue Cab.
I was walking home drunk one night and one of them started pacing me on the street. He opened the passenger door and begged me to get in because ‘it was not safe for me to be out walking at that hour’. I was tired of walking drunk so I got in. He took me the two last ¼ mile home, and as soon as he pulled the cab over in front of my apartment and threw it into park he grabbed my thigh and tried to get his other arm around the back of my neck. I threw the door open and ran as hard as I could, and he peeled out and took off. I’m still not comfortable taking a cab by my self.

I still feel guilty for not reporting it right after it happened. It’s been a while ago now, at the time I was pretty shaken up, and because of my drunken state I did not have many details. I didn’t call the cab, so their dispatch would not have known the guy was in my neighborhood. At the time I convinced myself that they would not have been able to figure out who he was anyway.

I like German Village, personally. Even the drivers who may not know exactly where they're going seem to take direction well. If you take cabs frequently, ask for the number of a driver you like, and you can request them again. I'm a fan of #811.

I use german village every time I have to actually call one. I don't do the random hail all that often.
