On July 18th 2010 Columbus lost a giant of media, a giant of a man, and a giant of a friend. Most knew him as Program Director and Radio Personality on CD101 still so many others knew him as something more.
Every year during the Andyman-o-thon he raised tens of thousands of dollars for needy children and their families around Central Ohio. Here is one chance to insure that his family receives the same loving support.
On Friday S...eptember 24th at Circus on 5th and High, starting at 7pm, ten local performers are coming together to show their support, and to say "thanks" for all that Andyman did for Columbus Music... and also they will rock! And the music WILL START RIGHT AT 7pm!!!!
The Wet Darlings, Besieus, The Spare Parts, The Tommyguns, The Slang, Yellow Light Maybe, Nate McDonough, Lydia Brownfield and Andrew Varner will perform. There will also be a special appearance by The Ooh-La-Las!
Trio Productions and Secret Song Records present, A benefit for The Andy Davis Memorial Fund.
There will be a $5 suggested donation collected at the door.
In addition you may also donate to the fund at any Huntington National Bank branch, at the CD101 Studios or at CD101.com
Finally, we'll also be having a really good time! Circus is on notice that we will be drinking a heck of a lot of Guinness and Jameson!
