Before specific needs, I'll say a quick bit about what we are doing. We will be doing one show per month. The idea is a vintage supper club, everyone dressed up, classic cocktails.... We have a few ballrooms that have offered to give us space but we haven't committed to anything yet. The Jazz Academy is being incredibly generous and letting us use charts as well as their rehearsal space. We don't want to be dicks so we're having them keep track of the time we are spending there and we'll be paying them back out of the first shows proceeds (but you won't be accepting and financial liability if you come play, don't worry). After that all the money generated will be split up evenly among the players present at each show. There are a few grants we can go after too, but I want to get up and running first.
We currently have drums, guitar, bass, baritone sax, (1) alto sax, (1) trumpet, (1) trombone, vibes, and vocal covered. We need additional horns and would love to get some strings in the mix. We are practicing on Thursday nights right now. If you want to show up and play to see if you are into it, we would love to have you and won't think you are committed to anything.

We have already filled out the roster, but what the hell is that supposed to mean and why was it worth digging out a month old post to say?
