A special album listening party for The Mealworms "Radio Cabinet Rabbit Hutch" LP (3C 30) -- finally available on glorious, multi-colored vinyl. Friday, April 1, 7:00-9:00 p.m., Spoonful Records, 116 E. Long Street, Columbus, Ohio. Refreshments will be served, and as always, Spoonful's pinball machines will be set on free play.
A performance by Randall Douglas Matson and CD release party for "The Interlocutor" (3C 41). Saturday, April 2, 3:00-6:00 p.m., The Dolphin Lounge, 345 Agler Road, Gahanna, Ohio. We can't guarantee that refreshments will be served -- but they were at the previous performance/party in Autumn 2010 for the "Motorhome Boogie" release (3C 39), and they were might fine too, we might add.
The Beatdowns farewell show -- originally announced for Saturday, April 9 -- has been canceled, but will be rescheduled soon. Also on the bill -- The Hexers, Travis Kokas, and Closet Mix (the new Old 3C house-band). More on this event as new details become available.
