Just wondering if there was any online source/site for finding out the value/worth of vinyl LP's? Geared towards more rock/indie rock/metal genres specifically.. Got some old, out-of-print records and just curious if they are worth anything! Thanks people!

I find discogs to be a nightmare just because there is always some fucker trying to sell some record well over going rate. For instance, weakling "dead as dreams" hasn't ever hit $400 and some dude is asking $400 and change. It's cracked $300 once and mostly sniffs $250 according to collectors frenzy. Don't use discogs to gauge going rate of a record. You'll still get skewed prices on collectors frenzy but not to the level of discogs IMO.

if yr 'savvy' you can use discogs, at least to see what people are asking and not receiving for a record. it's certainly not as insane as amazon, anyhow. it becomes less useful th more obscure a record is, of course, or simply for releases that don't have anyone tryng to sell a copy on there. also, th gaps in it are sometimes hilarious.
