The latest in a series of fantastic Art/Music shows held at Supraphonic Studios brings the love with a gagle of Columbus' finest songwriters. Check this line-up....

Come and take a dip in the Cowtown songpool. Ohhh...that feels good.
Supraphonic is a top-notch recording studio and alternative art space for the Columbus underground. It has built quite a following over the last year by hosting a series of monthly FREE Art/Music parties for the public. The shows are FREE (w/ donations of a couple of bucks happily accepted), BYOB and mix the best of the Cols art and music scenes. This show packs a whallop in particular by bringing together some of the brightest new Artists and best songwriters in recent memory.

directions: from High street, take Lane Ave. West to Kenny. Turn Right on Kenny and then immediately turn Right again on Legg. Continue back to the buildings, taking a Right at the stop and continuing around to the back of the building into the gravel parking lot. Park here. There is a ramp that leads down to the lower level entrance to Supraphonic.

Man, lay off the Newport. Those guys have to choose between a better sound system and blow, and for them the choice is (apparently) obvious.

BY THE WAY: We're recording the Oct 16 show, and more people = more crowd noise = beginning of Live at Budokan! Seriously, since attendance will cost you nothing but your dignity, you owe it to yourself (if not us) to show up. It's the slam dunk, touchdown, feel-good hit of Autumn </smarm>.

i tell you kids whut, i just heard the tapes from the do-rights live show at supraphonic, and i don't remember us sounding NEARLY that good, so there MUST be magic at those kids fingertips!

yeah, I got there late. But of what I saw...
Chris McCoy. Yes...his voice always sounds so perfect and his guitar playing. I only heard like a song and a half of his, but I've been a fan for some time anyway.
Marcy was just great. Exactly what you'd want to see & hear. Her songs sound even better in such an intimate presentation.
Happy was phenomenal. Something about his style is quite different than most other singer-songwriters. He has some sort of cabaret quality to his writing and playing. But man, he hits every note. His songs are tight, unique and on the money. He gets my vote for Columbus' best scat/whistler!
Joel played his working man's blues with conviction. Everybody enjoyed it and his set was another in what seemed a night of great performances.
I also heard from people there that Eric and the others did great as well.
