“Playboy” Trav Dave sent me this mp3 of himself, J. Osceola, Freddie Mac, and Bronx emcee Anti ripping a raw track. Trav has been around the Columbus Rap community for a grip and runs with J.Rawls and the Usual Suspect dudes.
His verse is at the end, and manages to include a Lil B reference in a song called “Lyrical Accountant”. All jokes all aside..real rap…protect your neck.. live at the bbq style.
Extra points for the rhyme, “some artists need to pay homage, I remember when you used to get your Jordan’s from Muhammad.”
I put a Columbus graffiti production because the song is a posse cut.

MP3:Fabrashay A Ft Zerostar and Le For the Uncool-My City (produced by Path)
In the greatest team-up since KMD’s and Brand Nubian’s “Nitty Gritty” Milk N Syrup, and Weightless are on the same track. Okay is nothing like that song but it is still nice to think about.
The song is produced by Path from All Eyes Path. It starts off unassuming and sparse and develops into something special. The email I got for this song said it was “untitled” so it may not be called “My City”.
Regardless, the song is off of “the Art Show” Fabrashay’s upcoming album. It’s dope and if you don’t download then hopefully you don’t listen to rap and are just waiting for more pictures of bearded men playing ukelalees.
Sidenote:Besides catching Zerostar at “get right, getting right” you can also catch him hosting “Grindtime 2 I Still Get it in Ohio” it is an emcee battle October 16th at Skullys.
More on that later this week.
My friend Danny Babcock and 4 other artists got involved with Cincy’s Over the Rhine based non-profit Art Wave for this “Paint the Street” project last weekend. Above is a video of the painting taking place.
Here is a link to CNN’s report on “Paint the Street”.

Yeah Fat Joe made it rain with Weezy, and also made y’all lean back. But he also used to flow, joe was with DITC and he also wrote graffiti under the name . Crack TAT
I still remember reading an interview with him in On The Go back in the day, and Fat Joe talking about beating up people that shoplift from his store Halftime in the Bronx.
I ain’t saying money is the key to sex despite what the above video states. I ain’t saying beating people up is right.
But Fat Joe definately plays Hip Hop by rules of the Bronx and the fact he has lasted so long despite losing friends Big L, and Big Pun, as well as beefing with 50 is a pretty good study in money, power and respect within Hip Hop.
Or how hip hop starts with your block.
Anyway, the Bronx vet will be on BET’s the Deal tonight at 300 am.
Ohio Graffiti Not in Ohio + MP3s of Huey, Lil Wayne, Jayz, Rick Ross, Paul Wall, Raekwon, Jay Electronica,Yelawolf
Ohio Graffiti writers in Oakland, Asia, Erie Pa + More.
Rick Ross and Jayz address Freemason rumors. I’m way into Rick Ross’ verse. Shit he was already a prison guard, and took his name from the drug kingpen that sold crack unknowlingly for the CIA to help fund the contras.
Why not be a free mason?
Jay-z uses the song to call people that thought he was an operative of Satan morons.
This Ender piece is from a Dayton graffiti jamm. The Black Lips and Pierced Arrows songs are from Scion Split 7 inch that will be out July 6th. The bands get the paper.
The Pack’s verison of “We Want Some Pussy” is not on their upcoming album Wolfpack Party, which is out 8-24.
Illegally fun jump-off. The Killah Priest Song is about Satan and it guesst Sabac Rec and Ill Bill. It’s on Killah Priests up coming album The Three Day Theory out 7-27.
